WOMEN OF VALOUR INITIATIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT (WOVAIDE)
Women of Valour Initiative for Development and Empowerment (WOVAIDE) is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization with the primary objectives of building capacity through trainings and skills acquisition, advocacy for maternal and child health through sensitization and awareness in order to create enabling legislation. It also aimed at empowering the vulnerable through provision of capital/inputs and networking with relevant partners to deliver community development services and psychosocial support to the vulnerable in the society.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the administrative activities of the office
- Manage, record and file all office documents
- Update all records and files in a timely manner
- Collate all relevant information on behalf of the organization and managing partners
- Prepare and plan for both internal and external meetings
- Write and document minutes of meetings
- Prepare daily report/briefing for the organization
- Manage and record all forms of communication on the organization’s activities and initiatives
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Other Functional Skills and Behavioural Competencies
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Effective Office administration and organizational skills.
- ICT proficient especially ability to use MS Office, Excel software etc.
- Teamwork and Interpersonal relationships – ability to work with others to maximize the effectiveness of the team as a whole, sharing knowledge and workload. Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and contribute to creation of a positive team environment.
- Operational effectiveness – the commitment to ensure that full use is made of the systems, procedures and culture within the organization in order to deliver the required results.
- Comprehensive knowledge in overall office administration and with exposures to the different facets of office practices
- Outgoing Personality and emotional Intelligence

- Salary commensurate with experience and maybe negotiable
- Training will be offered to successful candidate where gaps are noted that needs addressing in line with the organization’s vision.
